who we are
Our instructor, Monica DeLeon, is a language specialist with over 35 years of experience teaching, traveling, translating, interpreting, and living all things language. She has taught students of all ages from pre-schoolers to adults. Though she is fluent in French, Spanish and English Monica is eager to learn and become more fluent in other languages that she studies including Italian, Portuguese, Arabic and Chinese.
Monica is committed to lifelong learning- especially language learning. As a trained linguist with a Masters from Georgetown University she uses methodologies that have proven to be effective and she shares her insights and teaching expertise. Monica encourages learners to develop and trust their own language instincts and to feel comfortable expressing themselves.
